Let's buy back the Daintree Rainforest

50 % of all rain forests are already gone, let's protect the other half by buying back blocks of the Daintree Rainforest, returning it to be National Park land and handing it back to First Nation people to manage.

I aim to raise $1,000 through this fundraiser, which would save 400 square meters of rainforest.

To achieve this I'm going HalfCut this August. Are you in?

You can also help by buying some gorgeous soulbottles as 50% of all profits will be donated to my fundraiser!

  • making your home electric and more energy efficient i.e. solar, renewable energy, insulating walls, floors and roofs
  • eating local and seasonal (Sustainable Table has a great guide on what is in season), only buying what you need, growing your own food, becoming a 'flexitarian' by eating mostly a plant-based diet
  • mending your clothes, thrift, join clothes swaps, rent your clothes, favour organic and high quality clothing without plastic fibres when you have to buy new clothes or shop upcycled clothing through i.e. Upparel
  • avoiding single-use
